In light of the public health crisis that is COVID-19, National REIA is striving to keep our members updated and informed. To take a more active role in keeping our members informed our association will be hosting an update conference call this Friday, March 20th 11 a.m. via Zoom with our General Counsel and Director of Legislative Affairs/COO.
You can attend by computer or by phone.
We will handle topics for rental owners such as:
- Evictions, or non-paying residents and the federal ban
- Rent Increases
- Late Fees
- Suggestions for modifying day to day operations
- Handling maintenance
- Possible additional challenges and costs
Topics for investors such as:
- Challenges or delays in closings
- Working with Realtors or showing your home – working with virtual showings
- Any news on foreclosure delays or stays
- Any news on the management of your investor loans
- Tax consequences – returns delayed
And any other items that are of concern to you during this situation.
