Starts & Building Permits Stumble in September
|
The U.S. government is reporting that privately‐owned housing starts in September were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,555,000, which is 1.6% lower than August’s revised number. Privately‐owned housing units authorized by building permits in September were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,589,000, which was 7.7% lower than August’s revised number. Consumer Price Index Up 0.4% in September
